Sean Sloane from PIRSA talks about the King George Whiting spatial closures

Sean Sloane from PIRSA talked to Rowey about the King George Whiting spatial closures on the show on Saturday morning.

Listen to the chat here:

Due to the declining numbers of King George Whiting in South Australia, PIRSA have placed spawning spatial closures around the bottom of the York Peninsula, a known spawning ground for Whiting, to enable their numbers to increase.

The closure will occur throughout the month of May, so please do check out the PIRSA website at for all of the information about the closures, or download the SA Recreational Fishing App.
